Me too Chris. I'm off work tomorrow and Brook and I are going shopping My vacume croaked. I need a break from thinking...LOL Dr Tami, I sure like her~sending flowers~ she called today and of corse i start bawling. Blah blah..... She called everyone involved and has schedualed a meeting with them via phone for tomorrow. I begged her to get some real word anwsers for me, no doctor lingo She will i'm sure. She is more concerned about Brooks apena. So am I don't get me wrong but that scares me MORE than anything and so I am unable to speak of it quite yet, Scares me how long has this been happining. According to me her whole life. Poor kid. So i'm off to shop w/ my favorite kiddo while hubby and son go fishing. Relaxxxxxxx time. Tomorrow can't come soon enuf

Ooooh, how fun. I hope you have a great time with the little cutie pie. I still don't know - do you have an apnea monitor for Brook? If the ENT didn't insist on her having one (and you coming in for training on its use), then it can't be that bad. When Stevie had her study that showed all those events, they did the surgery right away, but because of swelling and not knowing if if would work, they sent her home with the monitor to wear 24-7. They downgraded that to just nights after the follow-up study showed 0 - zero, zip, nada - events in the three hour study and O2 sats at or above 98% the whole time. I still don't know why they didn't just have us quit using it altogether - might have had something to do with the tube feeding, I just don't know. Cool thing was that the man who trained me on the monitor (took about 3 hours ) said that we were now on his Wednesday night prayer list that included all of the kiddos and their parents who he'd trained. I thought that was just the coolest. Forgot to mention, we quit using the monitor on our own advise when Stevie was about 7 months old.

I don't know anything about the big long words being thrown at you...but I did want to tell you Nicholas had a T & A done a year ago January and he did great with it. AND, he doesn't get infections nearly as often, AND it also helped with the apnea. I don't catch him sleeping sitting up anymore! Hope you get answers soon!
