Christopher has been to a few doc checks in the last week and seems something is going on with him but no one is sure what I tell you guys this seems to be a pattern with Chris from the day he was born They all think they have a handle on what is up with him and then it seems to be something else More testing ... Colin and I are like NO MORE, let him be. Chris does have many health issues but it seems as if all his Docs just keep looking and looking, anyone KWIM? I said to the heart Doc just this last Friday, ENOUGH already. He understood totally. Christopher has been having some issues of concern but nothing anyone can pin point... One Doc thinks this could be... the other Doc thinks that could be... Colin and I think STOP, if something serious is really happening it will show its ugly head, KWIM I hope you all don't think I am uncaring, we love Chris but I and Colin just want Chris to be happy and have as normal a life as possible. Recently his issues seem to be high blood pressure and times of zoning out The pool we were going to get him for a surprise has been put on hold due to town ordinance and such and it seems to be more of a hassle then not. I will continue to deal with all they require but for now have put it hold for a bit, as its just to much stress dealing with out town ... Chris was offered Make a Wish just not sure if we will go with it or not I am on the fence with this one Kodi Lee is home which makes US all HAPPY. She took Chris out for dinner and a flick tonight and he just has a BLAST hanging with his Sis tonight ;D We still have Chris off all meds but honestly his OCD some days is off the charts and then other days is manageable. One day at a time is what we try to live. Sorry for the pity party but tonight I am having one and basking in it. BUT Tomorrow will be better, RIGHT? THANKS if you read this but most of all THANKS for letting me vent CC ~

I hope nobody thinks you dont care! you sound like a great parent, and well if 10 docs cant pinpoint the problem then the problem is not common enuf for them to diagnose right away, take a break for awhile i say and enjoy your gift, get the pool when you can, bet he will totally dig it! I know i would right now.....{{{sweating}}}

CC, I totally understand what you mean....going from Doctor to Doctor to Doctor can be difficult. It can "eat up your life" if you let it. Sometimes you just need a break. We usually spend our "vacation" time going to specialists. This summer we thought.."no more"...we are going to spend a week at the lake instead. Swimming and playing sound alot more entertaining than blood work and x-rays. Don't get me wrong...we'll keep up with the docs, but I want to enjoy Eric this summer instead of analysing him. I hope you get the "green light" on the pool....I'm sure Chris would love this. Zoning can be such a pain. Glad Cody is home. She and Chris seem to have such a special bond. What movie did they go see? My Grandaughter wants to see the "Night at the Museum" sequel, but I'm kinda not into Ben Stiller movies. Don't really care for him as a actor...Never could see why this guy is a "Star"! JMHO. Hope you all enjoy your Memorial Day...this is the first Holiday I'm NOT having everyone over...I just needed a break from all the company. We plan on doing some stuff around the house and then take Eric to Chuckie Cheese. You know the way Chris feels about Disney, well, thats how Eric is with Chuckie....so I'll take my extra-strength tylenol and enjoy the day!

{{{{{HUGS CC}}}}} I'm glad Kodi Lee is home WTHeck? Town ordinance for a darn pool? OMGoodness. Thats another part of "ordinance" I just don't get. Putting something on your own property needs a permit and tunz of extra money. Thats crap!! I had to get a permit to put metal on an already exsisting roof on mom's porch. And she lives out in the sticks. What do the skunks and coyotes care about a stinkin permit. Grrrrr... {{{{HUGS}}}}} for Chris too. That has got to be hard CC. I'm sending Prayers. I know what you mean though about "normal" for awhile. I just made Brooks apt for her 3 yr ckup. Just a tad bit late but I wanted to be left alone Some days you just have to scream ***ENOUGH*** and take some breaks Today will be better, it's Monday

Oh I hear ya. I get so tired of the medical stuff around our house and it's not just with Kaelyn! We just want our kiddos to be able to be KIDS! It's not fair they have to deal with lots of medical issues, especially unknown medical issues. Hang in there! Sounds like you're giving Chris a fun "normal" life despite medical issues!

While there are things about Ethan I would NEVER change, it certainly ain't all wine and roses, is it?
I have experienced the same frustration from time to time, CC. Sometimes it seems that we are absolutely mugged by one issue after another. We resolve one thing, and another rears its ugly head. If you need a break, by all means take one, and ENJOY it!!!
On the Make a Wish thing, if Chris would enjoy it, I would do it. He certainly deals with enough stuff to have earned it!!!

CC, friends are here to be available. I'm sure if I were in need of a good venting, you would be willing to listen. You just enjoy your kids and the summer.

Yes, all those docs and tests can be draining!!!!! No matter what we feel, you need to do what works best for your family and for Chris. I'll keep you all in my thoughts that it's nothing serious and if it is they find the answers soon so you don't have to keep having more tests!

Any of us that have dealt with all the medical issues that can surround our kids, know when enough is enough....to this day, if i kept every maintenence exam with molly and her specialists....we would be in one dr's office every other week!!
There came a point when we also said ENOUGH!! she was alot younger...but we really wanted to spend some time getting to know our daughter...plus the fact that as a young child, she could recognize the parking lot of ANY physician/hospital, and go BALLISTIC before we were parked!
;-)
you're in our prayers
