Hi UNO!!! Haven't been here for a bit but have a feeling you all will be seeing me finally responding to peoples posts and catching up in unoland.
A few weeks back Olivia was sick to the point I took her to er and they said she had pneumonia. She was sent home on zithromax and seemed to get better for about 10 days. Then Sunday night she got really sick again same symptoms vomiting high high fevers snot nose etc. She just didn't look too good. Anyhow.... I took her for a same day appointment Tuesday afternoon. She couldn't stop vomiting and looked horrible nothing would stay down. The kicker when I knew boy howdy she was sick when she refused any food not even a tiny bite( that's never happened in our house). Well they started an IV in the dr office and tried to get her heart rate down from the 180's. Well the docs came in n decided she couldn't go home and called the ambulance to come pick her up n take her to PICU . We got through Los Angeles traffic quickly during rush hour And have been here since. Let's just say it's been a looooong night. All the iv fluids are working on her she looks soooo much better but boy the bathroom trips all night unplugging and replugging in iv stand have been interesting. They have run a bunch of tests and she started tamiflu last night. She gets it two times a day for 5 days. They think it may be h1n1 but won't know till late thursday or Friday. Jeff leaves today for 11 days so yikes thank god for my momma. Olivia told the nurse last night after some nasty meds... Ewwww and "double ewwww." she's been a champ and the bravest kid ever. Gotta go the cafeteria is open she's asleep and coffee is calling my name bye
