Laura is loving her new phone with the qwerty keyboard. She send text messages to Mike and I, grandparents, aunts and uncles. There have been some priceless ones. I really enjoyed today.
At 6:15 I buzzed the intercom and told her it was time to get up. Five minutes and no Laura, so I called (hollered) up the stairs. She said ok. Another five minutes, no Laura, I called (hollered) again. This time my phone buzzed, and there was a new text message.
"mama I work up stop call my name"
And sure enough, she was down stairs shortly, even smiling.

LOL!
Angela isn't able to text yet, but she calls us from her room on her cell phone all the time! A few weeks ago, caller ID started showing up on our TV (freaked us out the first few times it happened! LOL) It's pretty funny when she's gone to bed and we're watching TV, and the phone rings. Up pops Angela's name on the caller ID! "Mom, we're cooking at school tomorrow." and stuff like that.
