Same here, prayers your way. It's tough enough knowing what is wrong and not being able to help, let alone not knowing. Hope she's better soon!

Courtney is home.....Not sure what to tell you though. She is better. She is talking to me and acting more like herself, but complaining ALOT about hurting all over. Her bones hurt, her teeth hurt, her head hurts, etc....You get the point. She still won't eat solids. I have her on Pediasure. She drinks it good so I don't have to worry about lack of calories. She is still shaky. I don't know what to think about that either. Her eyes are still dilated..... We go back to the doc on wed. CAT scan is scheduled in 2 1/2 weeks. Lets hope everything is cleared up by then though! Thank you all for your prayers! I'll keep you updated.... Jenn, very tired....going to bed early!!

Hi JENN!!!! hey girl!!! Oh man I missed the whole hospitalization... Liv and I did say a prayer for her today though . I got out an old picture you sent me and showed Olivia and she said. THAT'S ME!!!!! I say NOPE thats Courtney and we argued for a bit then she stopped and said a prayer for her with her traditional HEY MAN instead of AMEN... Hope you can figure out what is wrong. Glad the brain scan went well but what the heck is up with the dilated pupils???/ Ya know what?? Olivias pupils are ALWAYS dilated I have had therapists and her teachers and aides comment on this. But hers have always been this way so we don't worry. Hugs and rest for you as well. HEY how is Darren??? I want to know if you don't feel like responding here e-mail me. Prayers for the WHOLE family girl. Hospitals are the most exhausting places in the universe.. UGGGG HUGS Steff

Glad to hear Courtney is home - a step in the right direction. You know, you were one of the first peep's here to share pics and Courtney's website. I remember seeing her face pop on my screen and seeing her spunky little personality in all her photos. She made me smile through all my tears! Seeing how beautiful and full of life she is made everything alright for me. She, like all the kids here are my "virtual family" and I hate to think of her in pain. I hope she feels better soon and will continue to keep her in my prayers. Let us know how the doctor visit goes!!! Hope you get some sleep too!!!!

Oh my gosh Jenn, I'm so sorry to hear what has been happening with Courtney! I was gone for a few days, and come back to everyone else's kids being sick. (That was part of the reason I was gone too, I guess it's just that time of year for us) I'm glad to hear that she is able to come home, and thankful we live in a time when doctors are able to do so much. I will be praying that her CAT scan is normal.

He said she looked alot better....She gained 4 lbs of the 8 she lost. She still looks like a skeleton....but better. He was concerned about her strange behaviors, so he set her up an appointment with a ped. psych. Courtney tried to eat some of her favorite thing (spaghettios). I think she had about 1/2 a bowl. But, these antibiotics she is on made it shoot right through her. So, we are sticking with the Pediasure. She is talking ALOT now...acting alot better. All she wants to do is get out of the house. Let's go!!! Thanks for asking about Courtney and praying! Thank God she is better!
I will talk to you later, Jenn

Poor Courtney! I am so glad she is on the mend! How scary for you guys! I hope the behaviors were just all part of her being sick and meds and nothing more! Hugs and Prayers for Courtney!!!!! A.
