Clint, Jenn & anyone else who may have an interest. I'm thinking we should have some bracelets made up like the magnets. You know, the rubber kind like the Livestrong & cancer awareness ones. they're getting really popular. Bright blue I'd say. I just did a search & came up with a bunch of source places. I know a colo-rectal group is doing dark blue but hopefully we can get the more intense blue. What does everyone think ? (Unless we could get Michelle Mc to agree & do some Chilli red ones?)

Just make sure you pick a color that is not used by hospitals as their "warning" bracelets...I read a story somewhere that some hospitals are having trouble because some of the awareness bracelets are the same color as the "special diet" bracelets, allergy warnings or DNR bracelets, etc...of course this might not be 100% true but just something to consider :-) laurie

I'm finding out that there are so many organisations using them that we probably need to go with a custom design.I looked into a couple companies so far. I found out someof the Autism groups are using bright blue with puzzle pieces stamped onto it. There seem to be the embossed variety & the screened. I'm thinking some color with the chilis screened on it might not be a bad choice. Like I said, I'd love for Michelle to give us the go ahead so it could say UnoMas21.com Down Syndrome Awareness. I've also found companies that do the smaller sizes. I'd like to go with one of those so our kids can have them too. One company I found will make them in as small quantities as 40 for the plain stock colors embossed. I think those sell for around $2.50
