What fabulous news, Jackie!!! I'm sure the transition will be harder on you than Em, but no doubt she's going to thrive and enjoy her new exciting world. CONGRATS!!

:)Jackie, I am very excited for Em to be going on her own..One day Kourtney will be going on her own as well...How exciting and I'm sure worrying for you..I read you post from 2001 and might add that it made me think a little harder and yet still brought a little tear to my eyes..I will remember that for a while to come..Thanks for that perspective.

I was thinking about all this today...must confess I am a bit teary over this which surprises me. After all ...I have cut apron strings with all four kids....the first time with Emily was for ENMU for the better part of two years...then she came home...next was the summer she spent with Marnie in DC....she came home....and next was last summer that she spent with Katie in Austin...and she came home....and NOW...all over again...
I wonder if this yo yo cutting and coming back is a bit like yo yo dieting...only this one is bad for my psyche???
