I saw your question on Ashlie's Hearing Aide pic It is Dental Floss, We tie it to the metal part that her aide hooks onto and than the other part is tied onto a Diaper Pin(safer than safety pins) and its than pinned onto the back of her shirt, Down enough to where she cant reach the pin but enough leway for her to move her head without the dental floss interefering. We used the Strongest dental floss you can find and it works!! So if she does yank it out the aide is still attatched but just on the back of her shirt

Hey! Thanks for the info. When we tried using the Critter Clips our audiologist provided, it made it even more convenient for Maggie to chew on her hearing aids! They would come out and be dangling right there at hand level for her to pick up and chew on. Didn't you know that hearing aids are great teethers? Ugh! In fact, Maggie has been without a hearing aid for a week now since we had to ship it off for repairs. And guess what for? She chewed the case up and bit off part of the switch! It's the longest she's been without a hearing aid since she was 4 months old. I hate it, but she loses those things or damages them on a regular basis. We have insurance on them, but it doesn't do much good. Where did you get your diaper pin? I haven't seen those in years and years! Thanks for your help! Robin M - Maggie's mom

Actually it was funny because we couldnt find diaper pins either! We went into stores and found Cloth Diapers but NO Pins! Last store I checked as I thought they might since they carry a lot of baby products and they were there was TOYS R US!! 6 Pins for 99 Cents!!! If you dont have a Toys R Us near you or yours dont carry them let me know and I will pick you up a pack and mail them to you! they even have colors to choose from
