Matthew and I loved it. Did you stay after they rolled credits? You have to stay tell the are done. My sis had gone the weekend before and said everyone was leaving and all of sudden after the credits were done the movie started up again, so I knew to wait and sure enough almost everyone was out of there seat and the movie did start back up I wont say what they showed in case some of you are still going to go see it now you know to wait for the credits to get done to see the very end of the movie. ;D ;D ;D I took my older girls to see this yesterday.... and I'm not sure who liked it more - me or the 2 of them!!!! ;D ;D ;D
I hadn't heard about the extra movie bits during the credits but since I'm one of those people who always needs to see who did the music, we saw every last second of the movie!!!
This is definitely one that was well worth going to the theatre to see. So often I leave movies that the kids wanted to see feeling like I've been ripped off - and sometimes feeling like even renting them would have been a rip-off!!! Not after this one though, I can't wait to add it to the DVD collection!

yippee! I am so glad Shrek 2 finally got here....
We went to the Sunday Matinee and it was so fun. I don't think Cade blinked during the entire show......
Brace was so funny, once he realized that Shrek was there he yelled "Mama, Mama SHREEEEKKKKK" and started clapping for him. I was thrilled with another word added to our vocabulary list LOL Even though the theater was quiet when he did it.... ;D

Shrek has to be one of my favorite movies and I can't wait to see it. We haven't seen an actual movie in a theatre in ages (One Hour Photo was the last one, I think?) and I would like to take MM to see this...her first movie theatre movie.... I just wish we still had our drive-in here. the last one closed a few yrs back and how i miss it!! we used to go all the time - and i looked forward to taking my kids there. oh well. so much for progress :-( but i'll let you know if/when we get to see Shrek! I haven't seen Shrek 2, or the first one for that matter LOL. BUT.. I had to jump in here because my hubby and I MISS drive-in's SOOO MUCH.
We were JUST talking about this last week. We are both from CA. And growing up, we had tons to go to. And then they all closed. We now live in St Louis, MO and wish they still had them. Having two toddlers and then a 11 yr old makes it difficult for the WHOLE family to see a movie. My husband tends to take our daughter alone if anyone goes. We would give ANYTHING to have a drive-in so we could ALL go!

I took my seven year old neice and a neighbor's child to this movie and they loved it! I did too, and that surprised me. I only liked one and that was The Beauty and The Beast. I think it was because Robby Benson was the voice of the Beast and I always had a crush on him. I also like Angela Lansbury. I think she did the voice of the tea pot but I am not real sure.
I will probably take her to the new Harry Potter movie, but, I am afraid she may get scared. There are some parts in the movie that are scary.

I'm going to take my niece and nephew (9 and 13) tomorrow. I want to take Aidan sooooo bad, but I don't think he's ready for a movie theatre experience yet I was all ready to take him tomorrow, too, but his behavior today at the mall....whew! No way! haha I want him to be "bigger" so bad so we can do these fun things together! In time, I know... Staci
