Hey LisaRI, I am assuming what you are talking about is the PECS system too? I have made pictures for Russell and we are going to be using them at school this year.. using HIS pics and trying it this way.. we shall see. we keep the backgound PLAIN... white actually and ONLY the item for the pic.. no distractions... that actually helps with things like, Visual Impairments, Autism, ADD/ADHD, ect... so we do that already. Thanks for the info! Your a peach! I also found out about Auditory Integretion Therapy or AIT... which I am going to ask about.. anyone heard or used it for their children/child? I found a couple different types but it's pretty interesting.. and for children say, with Autism, that need to focus differently...so who knows if that will work.. A.

A~ Tangible symbols are objects or pictures that stand for or represent something about which we need to communicate. Tangible symbols may be: 1. whole objects 2. parts of objects 3. associated objects 4. textures or shapes 5. line drawings 6. photographs These different types of symbols illustrate progressively more abstract levels of representation. Hey thanks LisaRI I will ck that site out. I never heard of that ... but it sounds kinda like PECS but different... I will definately look at the site, and if it's along the lines of something that MAY work.. I will print it and take it to the eval we have... I am printing LOTS of things lately! Thanks A.
