I was curious - why wouldn't he do lasix on an individual with DS? I don't understand why that would be a problem. Did he say anything more specific?

Hi Renee!! I've been asking the same question lately. Lexy doesn't have any vision problems right now but who knows the future. A couple of girls at work have done the surgery and it is amazing!!

Hey Guys, I'm not sure exactly what your talking about but thought I would tell you what I think your talking about...LOL let me know if I'm wrong!!!! Gray who is going to be 7 on the 24th , does not have DS but has worn glasses since he was about 28 months old and has terrible eye sight (poor child see's 20/30 and 20/60 with his glasses on), we have talked to his doctor several times about having lasix done and he tells me that until they are atleast 18 and have quit growing that it can not be done because the eyes are still changing. Don't know if this helps any or if this is even what you are talking about. Hugs, Connie
