Just leaving for hospital with Meri for her surgery.
My dad came thru his "as expected" They wound up doing 4x bypass & replacing his valve. When we saw him he was still out & on alot of support~ the next 72 hrs are critical.Turns out he had less than 15% function before & would have had just a matter of weeks w/o surgery.
Love you gals & guys!
Happy Birthday Susan !
Suzi

Suzi~ I started praying last night for Meri and all the docs and nurses who will work with her. I know it will go well, and it will be such a relief to finally have this surgery behind you/her. Please keep us informed, when possible. I'm so glad to hear your dad's surgery went as well as they hoped. Susan

Wow Suzi, you really have your plate full right now! I'll pray for both Meri and your father. It sounds like they caught your Dad's problem just in time!
I'm sure Meri will bounce back so fast it will astound you. I am always amazed at the recuperative power of children. Our nerves take a pretty hard hit whenever something like this happens though. Many prayers sent from Michigan - from our lips to God's ears!!
