Since someone seems to be interested in glasses, let me add as a new thread so it doens;t get lost what we have found works SUPER for glasses starp. Rosemary is 14 months and has had glasses for about 1 month. The glasses fit well and we have had little problem. I found something that works very well as a strap. She still nurses quite frequently and when she does, the glasses slide a bit and usually end up smashing one eye or the other. So I take them off when she nurses, which as I said, is frequently. The strap we got from the eye glasses place isn't real helpful. To get it tight enough, you can't slip it over her head at all. So that means either fussing and detaching one side of the strap of fumbling with loosening it enough to get off. Lots of work, when you've got a baby who wants to nurse NOW!
Sooo, looking at our fabric store, I found some narrow Velcro straps that are used to "bundle electrical cords" together (like under your desk- phone, printer, monitor, computer, etc.). I took 2 of these (a pack of 5 is like maybe $2) and attached one to each side of the glasses (the best way to explain this would be to say it has a slot and a tab- which is really the long strap), and then attach the Velcro snugly, quickly and efficiently in the back. I cut off some of the excess starp and we're set. Works like a charm. The velcro is soft and not abrasive on her head or anything.
Just thought I'd pass this along. Real slick for those who use a strap.

Kathy
