I just want to know if any of you having any problems with your kids while you are on the phone. Luke just hate us (me or my mom) to be on the phone. If he sees me with the phone, he starts acting very aggressive - he throw everything on the floor. Why he is doing this? May be my voice is more loudly or he just a man who doesn't like us women using the phones? Will appreciate any feet back from you!

He probably just wants his mommy's attention!!
Have you tried giving him his own phone to play w/ while you're on the phone, or some other special activity just for those times?
My 2 LOVE playing with phones...if not play ones, they're happy w/ the real kind. One day I know they'll accidentally call China, LOL! Both of them sit and pretend to call daddy, grandma, cousins, whoever....
give it a try! good luck. laurie

Hello, I had to respond becasue we are having phone problems in our house, but they they are of a different sort..... Erin LOVES talking on the phone & 9 times out of 10 if you call my house, the phone is off the hook !! All the phones are hidden on high spots now so she can't reach because she babbles away to no one ( I hope..... have to check the phone bill...haha) But I do remember with my older kids, as soon as I got on the phone they would act up... I think it is becuase they know they can get away with it....they think we won't end the conversation and we won't punish them either....I say end the coversation & reprimand them so they know good behavior is expected & enforced even when you are busy & on the phone. It will carry through to face to face conversations as well.... they think when grown ups are "chatting" they can have free reign !! I can remember doing the same to my mom

Meghan has a toy cell phone/cordless phone...i found it in the drug store - just like $5. Makes a little noise, plays a song...but she also has another one that doesn't make any noise and she likes it just as well. She'll walk around for hours pretending she's talking like I do -- "Yeah, sure" "OK" "yes, I know"....then she'll make all of us talk. Yesterday i caught her giving the dog the phone and making HIM have a conversation...LOLOLOL! good luck! laurie
