My name is Mike and my son Miles is 4. Not sure words can ever explain the amount of joy he has brought to my family. Miles continues to shape many lives around him. Just recently one of his day-care providers decided after being around Miles for a year that she wanted to go to college to become a special-education teacher...how awesome is that! Miles and I spending some quality time together.. my little dude rules!

These posts are amazing, I just found out at 21 weeks pregnant that our daughter will be born with DS. I was told about this site and I am excited to read through all of the experiences everyone has shared! I can't wait to have my own personal stories to share on here! Thank you!!

Patrick was very easily comforted. he rarely cried and from day one he slept thru the night. it worried me cause he didn't wake up for a feeding but i set my alarm clock for every three to four hours and would tickle his feet to wake him up for his feedings. He was and still is very happy baby/young man. Loves to sweep floors and dust and do dishes and laundry.

Chase was a terror as a baby, cried had colic, had to be held or entertained, got into everything, would only eat a couple things! Chase was the FUNNIEST MOST LOVING HAPPIEST baby toddler little boy young man you'd/you'll ever meet! He made/ makes everyone laugh and smile!!! He was and is a ONE OF A KIND!!! That's what's so great about having a baby with Down Syndrome.
