Thought i'd share this cute pic. Brook had to go to the dentist today for this skin "thing" that is getting bigger btwn her front teeth. The dentist said what it was called but after I heard Laser Surgery, all else was lost Her next appt is in June unless it get's worse or bleeds w/o brushing or just won't stop bleeding after brushing. Poor thing She also has all her teeth already and the doc was amazed. He said that just doesn't happen but she proved him wrong eigh!? Also a cross bite what ever that is. Like I said after the "laser" word everything else is just a blurrr Can't believe it, both girls have to have surgery on their mouth all w/in months of each other. Mary is first obviously, tumors come first, then little Brookster will go in. Maybe it will majically dissappear ;D A mom can hope right?!!!

Yep that's their kid seat. I want one for home Her dentist is at Doernbeckers where they took her when she was born. Most all her doctors are there except her regular ped Dr. Tami is just in the next town. It's all connected: Doernbeckers, OHSU and the VA Hosp. Wanna talk about easy to get lost It's the cutest place though. All done in animals for each different office/clinic. We were at the chipmunk and kangaroo today I might mention, this is the one second she wasn't screaming but she did wave by-by when we left after she got her sticker I remembered what the "thing" is called: Maxillary Labial Fraenum and the surgery is called a Fraenectomy or Fraenulectomy. Funny how your yelling at the two big girls to hush and poof, it comes to ya

Googs is just adorable!!!
Both of my older girls had to have Fraenectomies. Caitlin (17) procedure was a bit more unpleasant because they didn't have the laser at the time but once she realized it was open-season for jello, pudding, baby bananas and ice cream she was happy! Sarah had the laser procedure done about a year ago in preparation for braces ( which have yet to go on because she still has 5 baby teeth!) and what a difference! We were in and out same day..... with about 2 or 3 days she was eating pretty much everything in sight!
Any procedure is unnerving, but our experience with the laser route was pretty uneventful!
