Did I mention I am 35 and will be 36 when the bundle arrives. Add to that my doctor with all her warnings.

Wow! I like your visual prof! Congratulations! ;D You are scary today (you are under the shock), but you will be so happy later with 3 beautiful children! ;D ;D ;D Do not worry about your age - it doesn't mean anything. Are you hoping for a boy this time?

Congratulations! I have 3 children and was also a bit worried with my last - I was 31 when I delivered Ethan (DS) and 33 when I had Isabel (not DS). Funny thing is though I know a lot of women who have had babies over 35 and not one of them has a baby with DS - or any other chromosome problem. My best friends sister in law is due a baby girl soon, she is 46 and has had an amnio, the baby is fine. You have to be just really lucky to have a baby with Down Syndrome All the best wishes to you. Elaine.

Yay! Congratulations. You can do it. We have six so far. I was 45 when our youngest was born and my doctor had a lot of warnings too. We lucked out. All he had was Down syndrome! ;D ;-) I'm just teasing a little. I really DO think there are a lot worse things that DS. I'm sure your little one and you will be just fine, despite your age. Great news!
