I think you have to have the picture online somewhere, so you can point to it. You click that little picture icon (second row down, 4th one over on the "Add tags" option). Then in between the tags it made you paste in the url of your picture. Replace the letters URL with the actual url of the picture Hope that helps. I'll try it now

Jackie, Here is the way to give your pictures an url. First you have to find a site that lets you cross link. Yahoo wont I use www.itsmysite.comthen you upload your pictures to their site then your pictures have an url it should look like this I will put spaces between it so that you can see it [ i m g ] w w w . i t s m y s i t e . c o m / k a d e n / i m a g e s / (whatever the pictures name) . j p g [ / i m g ] then your picture should post. I've heard that another good image hosting site is www.boomspeed.com/They host pictures for people who do auctions like Ebay, and they do let you link to the pictures. I've read that it's easy to use and it's free. They store the picture for you, give it a url and then you can link to the url. Good Luck!

Lori, If you go to your picture on the web. Click add to your favorites (to the picture) it should have the exact url in the little box except it put dots.... where the /// should be. That is how I do it anyway. Radonna

You and me, Radonna .. we ae going to figure this out!
Lori, Try one of these two things:
Either go into your boomspeed account, and find your picture.... click on it, so you are looking at it full sized on your browser. Then highlight the URL that is in the address bar of your browser ... and copy it.
The address bar of your browser is the first field at the top of your browser. It's a white field that, right now, probaby says something like htttp://unomas.proboards10.com/ blah blah blah
that's the URL. When you get to your pictrue, highlight whatever is in the address bar. Hit the "Control" and "C" key (if you are using a pc) . Now you've captured the url. Find your way back to this board, and paste it in your next message.
If you want to make it clickable, click that little world icon in the tags above. and between those url brackets ... paste in the url of your picture.
Hope this makes a little bit of sense.
So anyway... how was signing up for Boomspeed? Was it complicated or what? I'm curious.
Michelle

Oops, I said one of two ways, didn't I? I guess the other way is to email me with your boomspeed username and password and I'll see if I can figure out what's causing you grief. Email me, if you want : michelle@unomas21.com and I'll take a crack at it. I feel kinda responsible, since I suggested boomspeed. Michelle

It took me FOREVER to figure it out! I mean just one little thing would cause the little red x. you have to be really careful about capital letters. That was what was keeping me from getting the hang of it for so long. I was doing the basic stuff right and not paying too much attention to the picture name I would have something like KadenCotton and would type Kadencotton and that would cause the red x. It is pretty easy now though. Radonna

snapfish.com is a free site that you can link pictures to. At least I can over at ezboards (similar to this board). I'll have to try and see:

Hey Michelle Mc, Help! Thanks for the info on how to post pictures! Your instructions are easily understood. I seem to be having one more problem though. I have a post under "strabismus" and I am trying to post a picture of my son in his new glasses. I have a boomspeed account (thanks for the tip, it was easy to sign on and use) and I am modifying my post trying to add a pic. I click on the pic icon at the top and it gives me the URL thing and I insert the boomspped acount address by copying and pasteing. I then go back to boomspeed and copy and paste the file or image. When I review or refresh the preview the pic shows- large and clear but when I save and go back to the messages I see the x on the bottom of my post... Can you help?
