Ahhhhhh, this bad boy of mine never fails to keep me entertained. Life here is never boring, and with that said, forgive me if I laugh over this last episode, it is either that or scream with frustration over my almost 14 year old son being at times in his terrible twos!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have to picture this latest little fiasco, it really requires you to do a visual. I am in the bedroom folding clothes (first mistake) and he is outside playing on the patio with his trucks and cars. (or so I think) His little brother Zach, age 7 and Zach's two friends are jumping on the trampoline in the back yard. Last peek and every thing was fine and calm. It is sunny and about 48 degrees, chilly today compared to the last week. (this is important to note ) So as I fold the clothes I think I hear someone yell "Chase no" and then I hear squealing and screaming and lots and lots of LOUD yelling. I have found 7 year olds like to scream and make lots of noise so I am wondering if they are messing around as usual or if Chase has gotten into something, (gosh I think, he was just being so good what could he be doing wrong now?) As the screaming gets louder I drop the clothes and run for the back door. Frogive me Lord as I looked outside and saw Chase standing next to the trampoline with the garden hose in his hands and he is spraying those children non stop as they run around the inside of the trampoline like little mice in a cage that cant get away and I burst out laughing. (I am so ashamed
I ummmm, gather myself together and think oh man they have to be frozen little things and run out and shut off the hose and yank it away from Chase. I look, and the kids are all three standing there staring from Chase to me to each other and back again, trying to decide whether to laugh or cry and as they see me start to laugh before I turned away so Chase would NOT see me, they started to giggle as they shivered and turned blue. I told them quick come inside and get dried and change clothes. They got down and ran for the house as Chase ran for the trampoline to keep out of my reach once he saw the look in my eyes. He climbed onto the tramploine and got inside the net. ROFL, I picked up the hose and what do you think happened next....................?
I think.......yes, I am pretty sure, Chase will NEVER do that to anyone again
Wow......and I still start to laugh when I picture all those faces frozen in shock, Zach's, Timmy's, Tori's and last but not least.....my sweet Chase's face...LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!
hugs, Robin
