I just wanted to add that this forum is already becoming addicting to me. I could sit here and read for hours. I will have to really make myself limit my time here and not forget my chores! A dirty diaper awaits me!
Thanks again, everyone!

Welcome Ibby! Congrats on the new baby on the way!! I also found out while pregnant that Cooper would have DS. I am so glad that I did, I was able to read, research and prepare myself as well as my family for Cooper! He is such a blessing as will yours be. Uno Mas is a wonderful site that I just like to come and read a lot of the times. I don't post a lot but when I need advice or a pick me up I do come here and someone is always willing to help. Again, Congrats and Good Luck on the baby on the way! Wendey

First things first - WELCOME!!!! Also, I'm sorry to hear about YOUR health problems, I can understand that would be a huge concern for you along with the unknowns about your new little bundle of joy.
My first thought when I read your post was, Honey, if you can handle 10 kids already - you can certainly handle a baby with Ds!!!!! You have the added bonus of having so many siblings for your new baby that will love and cherish him.
BTW - we LOVE to contribute to the baby-naming process around here - so don't be surprised if you are start getting suggestions from us here at Uno!!!

Hi Ibby, I found out my son had DS via amnio and although it was a shock to say the least, I was glad in the end to have found out in advance because the day he was born I was over the shock and it was a great day, a happy day! With the amount of children you have already you are a pro......there is nothing you need to worry about with the baby being different fron your others- honestly - Ethan my son with DS was by far the easiest baby out of my 3. Any parent advice you want you will find here, if you want doctor info have you looked at www.ds-health.com it's a great site. Elaine.
