Jessie, I was not suggesting that you are now or ever have been a blond. What I was trying to imply was that both Laura and you had posted statements that could be taken as prejudiced towards or offensive to some certain group of people, largely female--but that's another rather large can of worms-- who happen to have hair of a color of varying shades of yellow. So, did you just have a blond moment? Oops, see how easy it is to fall into the trap of being disrespectful of blonds? -- Bob

Bob,
After listening to a LIFETIME of blonde jokes, I decided that "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!" Rather than get all disgusted at blonde jokes and blonde inferences, I use them to my advantage.
P.S. is the estimable Lynne a blonde?

Well, we're really getting off topic now. Lynn's a brunette, is not now nor ever has been a blond. But her first born has been, at times, a blond. Currently she has pink hair, also a Tinkerbell tatoo and a lip ring. BTW, the report that "A study by the World Health Organisation found that natural blonds are likely to be extinct within 200 years because there are too few people carrying the blond gene. According to the WHO study, the last natural blond is likely to be born in Finland during 2202" is not true. See www.snopes.com/science/stats/blondes.aspBlonde Extinction Whew, I was really worried there. Wouldn't know what people would do for blond jokes then, but I guess I don't have to worry about that now. What a relief! -- Bob
