Thanks everyone. I wasn't really sure how it would be received. I had a lot more to say but I wanted to keep it short so people would read it.
Steff: We are hanging in there these days. The move from Texas to VA has been hard on me. We just checked in on August 1st and a few weeks later I was pregnant. I was so happy being in Texas so close to all of our family. Lauren was around her cousins and grandparents. It was a dream come true. Chris was wounded but recovered. He is able to walk although he will never run again. The Marine Corps thought they could use his mind and kept us active duty. It was a hard choice as we could have retired and lived a "normal" life. Although I suppose it is men like my husband that keep this nation great so we went. In 9 years we will be finished. Then it is back to Texas. Lauren has been doing really well. She is talking so well. She is writing and as you read has starting reading. She was tested and they came to the conclusion she has ADHD and Behavior Defiant Disorder. Guess who she targets? ME I am opting for no meds as we tried one and she was always throwing up. Not good. I am a little concerned over her heart. We are waiting for a sedated ECHO. She is starting to model in the thigh area and has been coughing for months. I would be devistated if they said she needed heart surgery now. There is my book for ya...lol
