OK, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's been a LONG time since I have been here... but wanted the scoop on who is still interested in STL and if you need help with accomodations...
I try and stay in touch with Susan via IMs but just wanted to get in here and touch base this say.
I can also get Six Flags tickets for $24 each from the kids schools if need be... and I think 3 and under are FREE!!!! Just let me know.
You CAN stay down that way, it will be about 30 min from me but that is ok... and if we want, we can maybe have a BBQ at my house on Sat or something like that. I have a big back yard!
Let me know...
And phoos... I would LOVE to see ya again!!!!!

A~ I still really really want to come! Right now, we can definitely be there by Friday night, but that sure seems like not much time! I can always ask for Monday off too....so we'd have Sat and Sun to do fun stuff. Would anyone want to do that, rather than Friday and Sat? I'm really eager to see everyone! Susan

Stacey~ We have been doing get togethers in the summer for about 4 years.....frequently in Cincinnati or Dayton Ohio. Last year, we met in Chicago. This will be the first get together in St. Louis, and I'm hoping a LOT of people can come!!! Looking forward to meeting you!! Susan (Mom to Emily, age 12)

If Cody hasn't lost it I might have a free childs ticket with purchase of a full price general admission ticket to six flags, someone could have if need be. Don't know how good of a deal it is. I just know I won't be using it! We got it with this float Cody wanted. hugs, Kristi

I heard yesterday that Six Flags have free child's tickets inside water guns from Walmart....it's a 2 package of water guns for $5 and has a free ticket for a child inside. I also heard that Six Flags bases their KIDS prices on HEIGHT rather than age. Susan

Hey Ladies, I can also get $24 tickets TO Six Flags... and 3 and under are free... I am just saying this because I don't know if buying a TOY at Walmart for a FREE ticket is the best route.... 24$ is actually cheaper than a childs ticket, FYI...
Hey STACEY... I live in ST Louis and have a friend I actually met here years ago before I moved here that lives in St louis... we both live in the county... I would LOVE to meet you sometime!!! email me momofrussell@aol.com
Anyone else that needs to email me about STL, do so also.... I need to know where you all want to stay? I can help out all I can.... I just need EXACT dates, ect... so I can help out and get the time off work if I am still working...i might quit heehee
I also mentioned we could BBQ at my house Sat...
Oh... and Robin... I REALLY wish you could make it... I would LOOOOOOOOVE to see you again DAHHHLING

I'm in a hurry this morning (Taking Emily to the Ds clinic in Nashville, and the princess is not ready to get up!!), but I th ink we talked about a few hotels on the original thread.......like a Days Inn or Ramada Inn....and they had indoor pools and maybe a Holidome type of thing? I am still not able to get off work Friday, so we'd arrive really late Friday night (it's a 6 hour drive). Is there anyone else who would be able to stay through Sunday? I was thinking I'd request Monday off, rather than Friday and would leave the hotel at check out time on Monday, rather than Sunday.
A~ A picnic at your house sounds fantastic!! I will check out the Six Flags website and find out how tall kids can be to get their child's ticket (to get one free). Otherwise, $24 tickets sound great to me!!

OK.. here is the pricing for Six Flags... 3 and under FREE 48" and under (kids rate) 24.99 General Admission (over 48") 39.99 So.. there ya go.... so I can get ANY ticket for $24 that can be used for either a child or adult.... If you are all interested, figure out how many you need and you can send me the money and I can pick them up.... I think I can pick them up twice a week until the beginning of June... I do believe... I will double ck the cut off date. I get them through our school district. Also, there is a Holiday Inn, and Drury Inn and some other places around there.... Like I said, I am 30 min away or so, but that is ok, you will all just have to caravan to my place If you all want to do Six Flags on Sat, we can BBQ and lounge around my place a bit on Sunday instead.... what ever... I really do have a big back yard... My niece wants to come to visit my mom from Calif so I told her that maybe that weekend will be good... she will be around TONS of other kids and adults and would probably have more fun.... so we shall see.... I need to scroll up to the beginning of this thread and ck the dates again that we are discussing here..... A.

OK, I just went to the beginning of the thread to double ck dates....
July 16-19 then... or 17-19 type of thing... 16th is Friday. Works for us.....
Also, you all mentioned the Zoo... We could do that Sunday early and the BBQ... but keep in mind, JULY is HOT.... The Zoo is at the other end of STL for you all staying in Eureka but very dooooooable.
There is also Purina Farms which is around where you are all going to stay and even though I haven't been there yet, I do believe it's free and has some animals there too... something small and simple to do.
I have a two small pools at my house.. a plastic baby type one for Russell and a blow up bigger one... so we can cool down that way... maybe I'll get a BIGGER one LMAO!!!! That would be fun!
I will also ck again those other hotels you all mentioned in the beginning of the thread.. or just pick one, K? Let me know if I can do anything else.....
