My father has Prostate Cancer. We found out back in April or the beginning part of May. He will start his radium shots, I hope I have that right, in July. Our summer will be different this year. He will have his shot every day. The doctor said he only saw three area's that were affected. It will keep us home so we will not be traveling much this summer. We don't travel much anyway in the summers except to visit my sister and her family. This is why I chose to stay home to help and support my Mother. I couldn't afford to travel to the conference anyway. I will be looking forward to hearing you all report on it.
I could really use your prayers for my Dad and Mom. I think I may have told you all about this but I wanted to ask for prayers anyway. I appreciate it very much.

I will be praying for your dad and your family. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer 2 years ago, so I know what you are going through. My dad is doing great. We just returned from a weeks vacation at the beach with my parents and had a wonderful time.
Praying for you, Deborah

Yes, Debbie... Prayers for your dad are being sent. I think I just heard today that prostate cancer is 90% curable. Those are good odds. Take care of yourself, too. I'll be thinking of all of you.
