I can SO relate, Steff!!! I always miss Emily so much too.........and I'm sure she misses me a bit, but the time just flies by SO fast for her! I always say I'm going to just take advantage of the "peace and quiet" when Emily is gone, and then I realize that SHE is not the one who makes it UNpeaceful!!!
I'm really looking forward to your post when Liv returns!!!

I remember when my son went to camp for the first time. The camp changed their rules for us and agreed to allow him to call home any time he requested. We all felt this would be a safety net in case of any possible abuse. And we simply did not know if he was ready to be away from home for an entire week.
We waited for the call. And waited. And waited. Finally on the last night he cracked. Here was the conversation:
Son: (Crying) Dad, they told me I have to pack. They say I have to go home tomorrow. Can't you talk to them?
Husband: Don't you miss us? Don't you miss Mom?
Son: Well, I do miss the dog. You could bring her out for a visit and then I could stay.

MB, that son of yours is tooo funny!
Steff, I want to come your parade!!! And I don't even want to think about the first time Alison goes away for any length of time. Like you said she can drive me absolutely bonkers but I know I'll feel lost with out her glued to my gluteus maximus!!!
