Well, Ryan's accidents have been getting more frequent. His pediatrician said it was probably behavior, especially since he stays dry though the night.
He had probably 20+ accidents since Friday, and woke up today soaked.
I was already bugged about all the accidents early last week, and before I jump all over Ryan's case, I knew I needed to rule out any medical problems. We have an ultrasound and an appointment with a pediatric urologist tomorrow. Hopefully then we can move on.

I'm sorry Jodi, that has got to be so frustrating. I think you are right on to rule out the medical first....
I know that frequent urination can be a sign of diabetes, has he been evaluated for that? Hang in there, I'm sure you'll get it all figured out soon.

Has he been drinking a lot more lately (also goes hand in hand with the increased urination with Diabetes)? I'm so glad you're going to check into medical causes. Please keep us posted!

You are very smart to check with the urologist. I also took my son to the Urologist. There was no "problem" except the muscle imbalance that comes with Down syndrome and slow maturation. For my son the bladder muscles were stronger than the still maturing sphincter that stops urine flow. The Dr. prescribed ditropan to relax the bladder muscle. In time my son gained the muscle strength and control to do without the medicine

Well we are back. Ryan was so great for the ultrasound.
The doc says there is NOTHING wrong (YAY) and that it is behaviors. I'm relieved, but now... this darn kid and the potty issues make me want to SCREEEEEAM!!!
Back to the drawing board...
