Tempting... ;D ;D ;D VERY tempting!!! Like Susan said, by the time Feb/Mar rolls around I have had it up to my eyeballs with snow and winter!!! Unfortunately that is quite literally the case here in Buffalo!!! I'll be doing as much OT at work as I can so I'll be starting an envelope labeled the "Shuffle Out of Buffalo" Fund!!! ;D ;D ;D Almost anyplace that doesn't have snow sounds great to me and if there's a beach all the better!!! Well, after Jenn Mentioned Shreveport and Susan wanting warm, I looked at Shreveport and they DO have lots of gambling if we want to do something like that. I am assuming it's like Tunica, right Jen?
I saw a Harrah's.. and Sam's Town.. and other places... I mean, unless we DRIVE to the Gulf Border, or go into Mexico, we can't GET much more SOUTH other then Florida.
Jenn.. just how HOT (or cold) is it in Feb and March in Shreveport?

Ladies Florida is warm in Feb. it is the end of October already and we are still sitting in the high 80's here..Praying for it to get cooler. Feb. is not that bad here really..If your thinking of coming this way that would be AWESOME !! I can meet ya anywhere in the state. It is high season here at that time but, with the hurricanes our tourists haven't been hanging around. We do still have lovely beaches left..At least in my area.

It is in the low 90s here right now.... About where we will be in Feb/March....I have no earthly idea! My dh says 50s/60s will be the high. We have 6 casinos and a race track. LOTS of great places to eat! OF COURSE I WOULD LOVE for you guys to come here! I think my husband goes to Vegas sometime in Feb(if his health is good)...so I will be stuck here with 4 kids! Yall could all come pile in my trailer and have drink or jello shot. Given I don't have anything here since we don't really drink, I would have to go to the store. I think I have some Grand Marnier in the back of my cabinet. lol Its interesting just reading your ideas though. I'm keeping my ears close by.

Depending on what area of Florida you go to ..Here in the Tampa/ Clearwater/ St.Petersburg area...We have a Race Track, Hard Rock Casio and Bingo, Gambling boats, John's Pass is a great boardwalk shop area..The beaches are loaded with lots of fun things. And we also have the Municiple Pier, Museums, Nature Trails, all sorts of great thing to do.. March is our busy season for the Spring Breakers..And they love it in Daytona, and some come to Clearwater. But it is really not that bad in this area at that time of the year as far as the kids. I'm just gonna keep checkin to see where ya'll end up. I can't really afford out of the state at that time..We are going to Tennessee next month, and Christmas with 4 kids is enough.

I am just LOVIN the Florida idea. I am on the west coat of Florida, like 70 or so miles North of Tampa, and I have never even noticed anyone from spring break at all.

Lindy,
Citrus County sounds good to me...Seeing as how we only live 70 miles away from each other, even if nobody comes here to see us maybe we could get together ? I am not really good with locations except where I live..But, my husband works in Pasco and Hernando sometimes ...Just a thought

Jackie,
I could be your driver. Maybe we could think about cities that are hubs for airlines. For example, Atlanta or Dallas. I think just about everybody could get a reasonably priced Delta flight into Atlanta. Dallas might be another possibility. I am not sure about the weather. Of course, Las Vegas is always good weather and reasonably priced hotel rooms.
It does sound like fun.
