WOW... what a great Valentine's day present!
Our anniversary is in Feb, as is Valentines... our gift this coming Feb will be.......................Letting our 11 yr old daughter go with her school on an educational trip to Yellowstone for 10 days in Feb LOLOL.....She was one of 32 kids picked and another family offered to pay for the trip part... we just have to provide VERY WARM clothes. So $$$ speaking, that IS our anniversary gift!

Adrienne .....I hear you....we have been married 35 years now...but most of our anniversaries were spent doing things with and for our kids....and, you know, we did it with love...and looking back I dont regret one dollar or one single hour we spent doing it....as I am sure you are doing. There is a time and a place for everything....and now the time....is ours!....LOL...and now I am loving every minute of THIS. ......your time will come, too. Jackie mom to Emily 24

Yes, we would definately not want to pass this opportunity up for our daughter to go to Yellowstone. We usually just do something for the evening or overnight, this would have been the first time we would have tried to swing a 4 day event. Maybe we could still swing a night somewhere.... A.

Well just try to top MY 7th anniversary. It was in 1975....Viet Nam had just ended but Ed still had to go into the military due to a deferrmant he recieived to finish his residency....and luckly we got assigned to Germany. But...he heard housing was hard to get and with our crew ...he didnt want us to come and have to live for weeks in a hotel...so went ahead of us. Turns out he had immediate housing...so....I flew to Germany on our 7th anniversary....with three kids under 5 ...alone! (and Marnie newly potty trained went thru 5 pairs of panties...due to the numerous free 7-ups) It was an adventure to say the least...but we survived and had three wonderful years over there.

Well, my escape may be limited....I just had to shell out $1900 to get my vehicle repaired. Seems the Durango recall started on ones made 2mths after mine yet I had the same prob! (if they add '99 models I'll get a refuns~whoopie!) And Matt signed up for the Middle School trip for Spring break to Williamsburg. Anyone want to do a mini trip to Wheeling Downs if they're from the OH,PA,MD,TN area ? I'll coordinate that or a snowbunny getaway to 7Springs, Hidden Valley in that same area. Nother option is a mini to that indoor waterpark by Erie that we talked about.
