Well, little Wonder Bug here is moving ahead. So much is going on with her at once. Her PT brought a Kaye walker (horrible looking thing) and she's doing well with it. Without it, she's pulling up on EVERYTHING and cruising along the furniture, windows and is even starting to walk along the walls at times. After 4 sessions with her PT and the walker, her walking has improved and has even picked up the pace! Yes, she may just go straight to running once she's got the balance! She's starting to make great improvements in her eating as well. Still introducing new textures, but gosh we're chewing guys!!! Solid foods are starting to take over! I'm also seeing great retention and memory too! Meanwhile, her mother is very tired and very pregnant and has a couple of feet in her lungs. I am cooked. Stick a fork in me. Only a few weeks more to go. Now the help request is for Emily's little brother or sis. This child still has no room (big deal), my husband's aunt sent a huge care package of unisex baby clothes & accessories so it has clothes, but the poor thing has no name. Nor any chance of a name. It's very sad. Can anyone, would anyone, care to lend a hand? Hoping for some assistance here! Christine

Good news on Little Miss Em. Tell her to keep on truckin' Names?! Are you kidding, and what are you trying to start now?? And what's wrong with Al Junior for a boy? Tell Al Senior that they don't let you take them home if you don't give them a name first. You need a good boy name and a good girl name. Several possible approaches to your problem. Throw darts at fridge letters and pick names that start with those letters. Albert Bertrand Clive Fiorello. Annabelle Bernice Candace Fiorello. Oh, but I hear Betty is a good name. You may have heard that too. -- William Robert, father to Charles Leonard and Robert Hilton--Hilton? who the hell would name a kid Hilton? (Do you know the Petey Karras story?)

Ooooh names, names, names!
I think this is going to be a really interesting subject ;D
I'm not sure if I will be much help though, We chose William and Paige's names with no problems but when I was expecting Charlotte we had actually got to the hospital on the morning of the c section without being able to agree on one ;D
Just off the top of my head, how about Poppy or James ?
Hope you are ok and getting plenty of rest
Take care Lorraine

Ok I absolutely love the name Payton for a boy and Kennedy for a girl. We had more fun coming up with a name for Noah and I wanted Will but settled to pick the middle name which is Ashton. Also, my boys share a room and I thought that was going to be a problem as they are 4 years apart but Sam loves having his brother in his room with him and it makes it so much easier to clean. Good luck, Jess

Walking, yeah whatever. WE WANT TO TALK NAMES!!!!! No, seriously, Miss Emily will always be first in my heart and I am thrilled about her first steps.
O.K. my names have to be adult friendly because he/she is going to grow up and have to introduce him/herself at a job interview. And the name has to go with the other sibs names. So, here I go.
Claire Rosemary (Rosie) Annabelle Katherine or Kathleen (Any nickname) Anne (Annie) Patricia (not used much anymore Tish) Caroline Jane
John (Jack) Robert Charles (Charlie) Henry (Bud or Buck) James (Jim, Jimbo, Jake) William (Billy - yes, good old fashioned Billy) Theodore (Ted) Francis (Frank) All guys hate Francis, all girls love a handsome Frank. Patrick Desmond
This is so much fun.

Well, we used the Social Security website to find names for our children (we wanted names that neither my husband nor I had ever had as students . . . and we had each taught high school science for 15 years before we became pregnant). Looking at that site, Emily is the #1 name in popularity for girls in 2006. So, if it's a boy then the #1 name in popularity for boys is Jacob. Along the same lines, Ryan is the 14th most popular name for boys. So, if it's a girl then the 14th most popular name is Alexis. So . . . I'm voting for Jacob or Alexis. Kim, Logan (Ds, 4) and Carson (2)

How fun! I thought I would put in my two cents. Lea Rose Anthony Joseph are just two of my favorites. My daughters middle name is Lea, but when my husband and I were picking our names he wanted a C name that would sound good with Crown our last name. In the end we came up with Courtney Lea Crown. It fits her, but it is awfully long for her to have to learn to write Valerie Crown

Another approach, you don't need names for boy and names for girl. Could go for unisex name. Here's some:
Alex Avery Brett Brice Cary Christian Dane Devon Ellery Florian Hunter Jesse Jordan Kelly Kiley Lee Morgan Parker Payton Quinn Riley Robin Sage Scout Sydney Taylor Terry Tyne Wallace Whitney Zane
Could pick one for this kid, whoever he or she turns out to be, or you could string two or three together, e.g. Zane Florian Fiorello, has a bit of a ring to it. Then again, couple in China recently tried to name their kid @, don't know if it was boy or girl. Now, there's a nice name # * + Fiorello. Oh, but maybe I'm helping too much, my second contribution to this thread. Very glad to think that this is all you've got to worry about. Regards, Bob

well I find boys names very difficult. I like Matthew (obviously), James, and my own personal favorite is Pierson (family name). I also like Irish names: Aidan, Conlon, Connor, Declan, Brannigan, Brendan, Brennan (they make nice middle names, lol)
However...and you can ask Colleen....I'd avoid Matthew, as Matthews tend to be TROUBLE lol!
Girls names: I am partial to M & K names: Maggie, Maryn, Kiley, Kaelyn, Kaia, Katerina, Keely, Kendra, Kenzie, Kiara (Ciara), and how could I forget Meghan.... But -- I also love Ava and Nicolette - I think Ava would be my choice
my Matthew, had he been a girl would have been Emily (or Emma) Faith -- oh yeah and I LOVE the name Grace too....
Good luck!! I remember the trouble we had agreeing on a name for both our kids, lol. laurie

I tend to like more "old fashined names", my kids are Emily May, Kate Ashleigh, and Lewis James... Other favourites we toyed with were Margaret (Maggie) Grace, Millie, Laura, and Daisy, for girls. Connor, Gareth, Gavin, Lance, and Owen for boys.
Good luck and have fun chosing Christine!! Glad to hear little Miss Em is doing so well too!
