I gotcha Deanna Char... that is one of the reasons the big tin of Bag Balm stays in my drawer on my side of the bed... for my feet and hands! A.

Clotrimozole is the medicine in Lotrimin AF. It gets rid of yeast rashes in 1-2 applications. Great stuff.

at the pharmacy...see if they can order "super dooper diaper doo"
sounds goofy i know, but my care homes bring it in by the case...as it is SO good at healing spots (bed sores)...we swear by it...
and the anti-fungals also...even if you have some stuff (mycolog..etc) in the cupboard..
we just mix it right in.
And be careful about using any bubble bath...that stuff would eat shauna UP! (she shoulda come with a dermotologist!)
good luck! e & molly kate

If she doesn't like yogurt, or you're just tired of feeding it to her...primadophilus should be available at your local health food store. It is the same bacteria in powdered form. I used to mix it in my daughter's applejuice. When I was in the doctor's office last week, I heard the pediatrician telling one of the 16 year olds to take it with her antibiotics to prevent a yeast infection!

I agree - it does sound like a yeast infection. This is interesting reading and recommends some supplements to help fight the problem. I know colostrum supplements work from first had experience and taking high potency probiotics capsules (which for children can be broken into food) is more effective that eating just yoghurt. I give probiotics to all my kids for 3 months after they have been on a course of antibiotics (which kills off everything in the system - good and bad). www.yeastinfectionadvisor.com/yeastinfectioninchildren.htmlCheers Carolyn
