We've had some really fun Labor Day get togethers in the past. These have typically been very low key, lazy, but tons of fun get togethers where we basically hang around a hotel and swim and visit and have a picnic............generally no amusement parks, etc. Anyone interested in doing this........this year?

Dawn, We stayed there a couple years ago and had a GREAT time!! The hotel was nice........had an indoor AND outdoor pool and the water park was right behind the hotel; walking distance even for ME. I'm sure you can find a package deal for the room plus water park, but when we went there we got a $2 off coupon and it was only $8 per person for the weekend anyway. That made for an inexpensive day of fun and relaxation. You can't get much more relaxed than sitting in a float in the wave pool!

Dawn............It's VERY close to you!!! Last year on the way home from Pittsburg, we drove from Lexington to Louisville and then downward to Bowling Green KY. The drive from Lexington to Louisville was EASY!! And Clarksville Indiana is like 5 minutes from Louisville! (Just across the river)

Fun!
I meant that Labor Day seemed so far away, not the hotel, lol.
You'll all be together soon at the conference, talk it over if/where it works for Labor Day. (I'm bummed I couldn't get the conference to work into the summer schedule of fun.)
I'll call the hotel tomorrow to see to what kind of availabilty they have.
