Chris and I stopped yesterday to fill the tank in the Jeep and they took a photo of our reaction when we had to pay... YUP ROBIN, we paid $2.29 per gallon just yesterday, and it seems here in Jersey the prices are going up daily With Colin filling up all his trucks daily, man oh man girl you should see the monthly gas bill CC

I hear ya, Chuck just started taking my car to work instead of his. If this keeps up we may have to get a part time job to pay for the gas for his first one.

Hmmmm check this out guys, as I said earlier we paid $2.29 a gallon just yesterday and today as I drove by the same gas price has now gone up to $2.32 a gallon, Hmmmm Now how that works makes nooo sense to me as they are selling the same gas they got at one price for higher and higher prices everyday.
Can we say RIP OFF here

ROFL CC over that picture of you and Chris at the gas pump...LOLOLOLOL ;D my reaction every time I pass a station. I guess I need to quit whining as you all are paying even more then us....sweet Louise does that mean we are going to be paying those prices in another couple weeks?? Seems although I LOVE my Tahoe I will be parking it for the summer and drive the S10, it is just a 6 cylinder and good on gas. Wow how come Becky has gas that is so cheap and I am sure comes from the same place all of our gas comes from?? Yes CC...... RIPOFF is the word of the day!!!! hugs, Robin

CC I to been wondering the same ,how can they do that . talk about a major profit ,we are in the wrong kind of business that is for sure. Now why is it that there is no regulations on this necessity? here in Oregon it can be from $2.19 to $2.35 and above depending where you gas up and where you live.

ROFL Robin....I'm prepared to make you feel MUCH better about living in Michigan!!! Gas here in TN is around $1.90, but while we were in California we spent a fortune in gas.....I was SO glad we didn't follow the car rental person's advice and upgrade to a van! In Needles CA (in the desert, close to the border between CA and Arizona), we paid $2.89 per gallon!!! And, the car was completely on EMPTY, and we weren't sure where we'd find another gas station before we got to the Grand Canyon, so we filled totally up at that amount!!!! YIKES! Never dreamed I'd get home and be thrilled about $1.85!! ~ I say drive slower and coast a lot!! Susan

Just had to Jump in on this one... Our Fuel prices have SKY ROCKETED here too.... And honestly.... I would rather be paying your prices!! Ours are WAAAAYYYY High! I just did a trip down to the city and back... about 2500km and 6 tanks of fuel...
Our Fuel is currently $1.11 a litre....
Conversions for you all... 1 US gallon is 4.55 litres.... so that is $5.05 AUS a gal... Converted... I am paying $3.44 US a gallon of fuel....
And you thought your prices were bad!!

It's 2.37 on the Oregon Coast...the only plus is that all stations in Oregon are full service here by law (Just like NJ) ....But, that don't make it worth $2.37.....
For some reason, this reminds me of the Cheech and Chong skit where they run out of gas and he says "I don't understand it man - I just put 57 cents in 3 days ago" lol.......

I almost fainted when I saw that our local gas station had gas for $1.69 today!!!! It hasn't been that low in...I can't remember!
Needless to say, I was jumping for joy! Sorry everyone else is paying way more. Been there, but it seems to be getting better here for some reason! The prices have been going down the past two weeks.
Keep dropping is what I say!
See ya Robin M - Maggie's mom

Gas is now down to $1.73 and even occasionally $1.69 here too! YAHOO!!! Funny though.......several years ago, we were planning a trip to Orlando and the gas prices had just gone up. I worried like crazy and said we would never be able to EAT on that trip because gas would be taking all our money......it was $1.32 then. Wouldn't we love THAT now??????
