Well, I finally got a phone call from Lyn this afternoon. She took Josiah and Tabitha to a special needs shelter and is still there because of no power at the apartments. She sounds very tired and is a bit on edge after staying there for close to a week. Please say a prayer that she is able to go home soon. And that when she is able to go home she makes it due to the fact her car keeps overheating on her.
Thanks everyone Deborah

First off glad to hear that everyone is okay...Which storm was she in..I know that sound corny as heck but I live in Florida and was wondering is she here or was she in one of the other states that have been affected by these awful Hurricanes..I evacuated all the way tho Tennessee from Ivan and even they got a ton of rain..Hope that all goes well for her and her family during this time and I will say a prayer for Lyn and her family
Hugs to ya Lyn

Lyn lives in Pensacola and stayed during Ivan. I evacuated to TN just like you did!! At the time we left the storm was headed right for us in Mobile and it was near a cat 5. Too scary! Thank goodness I have family in TN to go to.

Deborah~ Thanks for posting about Lyn. I had been concerned about her and Josiah and Tabitha. Glad to hear they are safe and sound.....although I'm sure staying in the shelter for a week was no fun at all. I'm thankful that ALL the Uno Masers who were in the paths of hurricanes during the past few weeks have been safe!! Susan

thanks deb...glad to hear they are ok! I was a bit worried myself! One of my grandmothers got her power back....but she lives further in land. My mom will be awhile! ANd guess what you guys! Ivan is back in the gulf, and Its headed my way now! GOOD GRIEF these stubborn storms! I guess he had to touch all of my family including me! We will probably get tornados.and heavy rain...but not the major blow those on the coast will get. So to those in Southeast Texas and South Louisiana, BE SAFE!
