This was one of my first books I read after having my Adan. It is about a family with a child with DS. The couple were Harvard Professors and went through an emotional roller coaster up to when Adam was born. I laughed and cried throughout the book as she went through the up and downs of having a child with DS.
It was recommended to me by the Down Syndrome Foundation and it was a great read.

This was such an emotional read for me. I read it after the amnio confirmed my baby would have DS. I loved it. It felt like the writer/mother was really honest with her thoughts/feelings. She didn't sugar coat things.

I, too, read that book and LOVED it. It was so honest! It made me laugh and it made me cry. What better recommendation could you want?
