Ok ...today for the first time on tv...I saw RADIO FLYER. OMG...I LOVED it...It has stayed with me all day...loved the fantasy but sad because it reminds me that Bobby's abuse is all too common in families these days.
But all in all must say....Where WAS I 15 years ago when this movie came out?

It was a great movie, but not much of a noise maker....so I can see how you missed it..... I'd recommend it as well....but bring the tissues....not the popcorn !

Jackie OMG I KNOW the lady who wrote it. I remember when she was ending the process of it and when it got picked up and her thoughts about the actors chosen etc. Really neat lady very hippie like real mellow very very interesting. I used to do her hair color in the later 80's 87-90. How funny when I scanned here in the book section which I haven't forever to recommend a book and saw your post and had to respond. How cool you liked it. I gotta look her up she'd get a kick out of everyones responses here and where it was found.(((HUGS))) Steff

I watched Radio Flyer too. I didn't realize how long ago it was though. I really liked the movie. Was the oldest boy in that first dinasor movie? Sorry if I misspelled that. It was a big movie then. A guy thought he could make a big dinasor theme park and the dinaors turned on the people. Samuel L. Jackson was in it. It is a horror movie in some ways. Laura Dern was in it too. Do you know what I am talking about?..........Debbie
