We have been on a healthy eating plan for a couple of months. I have lost 15 pounds without any exercise, just following the Abs Diet. It really isn't a diet, just healthy eating. Anyway, the author, David Zinczenko, has written another book called "Eat This, Not That". It is a guide to eating out, and staying as healthy as possible. The book is divided into sections, one section into favorite restaurants. For example, if I was going to eat at Applebee's, I would go to that page. I now have 3 healthy choices to choose from, actually 4. It also lists the most unhealthy selections (which unfortunately contains my fav Southwest Philly Rollup). There a hidden danger note about the Low Fat Chicken Quesadillas. All sorts of restaurants are listed, and other sections include a menu decoder for different types of restaurants, holidays and special occasions, at the supermarket, and beverages. I ordered it from Amazon, only about 10 bucks, and loaded with good information. It is also colorful and easy to use. I give it 5 stars Sharon

I saw this at Barnes and Noble and am thinking about buying it...but the one I REALLY like is Dr. Shapiro's Picture Perfect Weight Loss pictureperfectweightloss.com/It has excellent pictures of a bad meal on one page...and what you can have for same calories on a healthy page across from it. It was an eye opener for me in some instances...and I think Emily can really relate to it as well in making healthy choices. This other book will be good for her when she is out eating in other places.
