For those of you still awake, make sure you check the sky before you head to bed. It's suppose to be an awesome meteor shower tonight! (I think the peak is around 2 am.)

Big thunderstorms going on here right now, don't think I'll see anything. But I love to watch them. Derek and I used to sleep out in the yard or on the deck when he was younger so we could watch them!

When we lived in the country in WI, we use to camp out too. The country darkness made a HUGE difference.
I woke my daughter up at 2, we saw a handful of meteors and then let our imaginations get the better of ourselves and ran back into the house. (There were deer in the trees, boy are they LOUD when it's quiet.)

Hi... we sent the kids off to grannys for the night so we could see em. We did.... It was very very cool. AND BTW granny hasn't had em both at the same time for a LONG time so hey any excuse to have a night to ourselves. The meteor shower was a nice one. hee hee and yes they were awesome.
