I was chatting with a friend of mine, whose son is 19. She said that she quit letting them do the IQ testing after about age 8-9. As she put it, he was classified as MR for services, it wasn't going to improve, so why keep testing him? I have to say, that I think that is what I will do from now on. Now that they have the designation of IQ in the MR range, they don't need to do it again. What's important is how she is progressing. I have always felt that as long as she is progressing, we're doing fine.

I sent you a private message. When you are logged in, look at the top of the screen and it will say "Hi Jlo, you have "x" new messages, "x" are new.
To send someone a PM, you click on their name. You'll see a link to "send a private message".
I get a little nervous putting my home location and private stuff on the board, so I just sent you a pm with our info about where we live in RI and stuff.
