Bob, you must have rubbed off on us, cuz Ethan's top front tooth came out today, and I HAVE it!!! Maybe the daddy factor is the magic ingredient, cuz he was in the shower with Daddy when he lost it. I'm sooo impressed that Rod managed to keep it from being lost down the shower drain!!!
Next up, PICTURES! It may have to wait though, my little guy is a tad bit under the weather. We knew we were in trouble this morning, when he didn't eat his pancakes. Daddy makes pancakes every weekend, and it is the highlight of Ethan's week, LOL! This morning, he only ate half a pancake (can usually pack away three or four!) and by the time I returned home from grocery shopping his temp was a little over a hundred and one. No other symptoms yet, so we'll hope it is only a viral thing. And as soon as he gets better, I'm going to start chasing him with the camera. I'll never get as good of a picture as Bob did of Charlie, of that I'm sure!!!

Alright Ethan! Here's hoping the "tooth fairy" is good to you! Can't wait to see the pics... Must be something going around cuz my nephew had it for 24 hours...high temp and just felt "blah". Here's to a speedy recovery and more pancakes!

Congrats on the tooth! My 6-y-o is losing his first tooth, but the new one is already coming in behind it - yow! I told him to wiggle that old tooth like crazy so we can pull it. He wanted to pull it right away, but it was barely loose. I told him to give it a try knowing that he'd not get it done Soon...

Actually, Lynn took the photo. I just upload and post them. And, boy, Tammy's photo of Lewis' dentition is much more graphic! Stick a finger in Charlie's mouth and he bites, then laughs, thinks it's funny. But Charlie wasn't laughing much Friday evening. He'd been a bit out of sorts Thursday evening but seemed all right Friday morning. Sent him off to school. But he came home more out of sorts. Usually if there's the least problem, we get a call from school nurse to come and get him. That didn't happen but he was all whiny and clingy all afternoon. Lynn thought he had an ear infection. I didn't know if it was tooth, ear, or what. Turned out to be what. When I got home, I took his temperature and it was 101.5, and he usually runs cool. So, off we went to pediatric express at local ER. Ear was gooey but his throat was bright red. Strep, again. And I sure hope I don't get it this time, exquisitely painful. He's been on antibiotic since then, and seems to be feeling much better. Missed a Miracle League game Sat. morning but back to school today. And how I got the tooth, we've been helping Charlie wiggle his loose tooth for couple of weeks, since he wouldn't do it himself. Tooth wiggled pretty good front to back but not much side to side. Wed. evening I was wiggling it, felt it give when I pushed it back, got a fingernail on a little ridge of it and just pulled it straight out. Turned around to hand it to Lynn, said, here. At first she thought I was trying to give her one of Charlie's prize winning boogers. But then I showed her the tooth in the palm of my hand and she was swayed by the novelty of it. Charlie bled a little bit but was bothered more by me combing his hair this morning than pulling his tooth last Wed. Hope Ethan has just a mild, little, well behaved bug. And is back to enjoying his pancakes soon. Cheers, Bob
