Alrighty then I WISH our gas prices even came close to what u all are paying. The lowest I have payed is 4.59 I mean the lowest. MOST around me are from 4.79-4.85. Been doing a LOT of walking. Losing my gut somehow. It was a FORCED weight loss and am still trying as everyday the prices seem to go up. LOL I used to be able to put 15 in my tank and get half a tank. Now it barely gets me off the E line. In short it turns the empty light off for about 20 minutes till it comes back on.Kyle n I have been running lately and feeling much better bout my lazy butt so hey some good has come of it. How bout your food prices? have yours gone up as much as mine? The 1 store left here that took double coupons stopped july 1st.Dang. I used to go to the store with my coupons and literally save over 70% of my grocery bill. Now??? Man. Their killing me.

I checked my last 5 bills from the grocery store and I could've spent 140 a week and spent 40-50 a week with the double coupons so it was a HUGE lifesaver for me.we are literally going broke here.About 11 more months and I'll be working though so PHEW!!!!! Steff

Just to put a different spin on things...
We are paying $1.93AUD per Litre ...
Roughly translated...
That is $7.25USD per Gallon...
and rising !!
I have to drive 1000km (600 miles) to the city tomorrow to take Lewis for a sleep study... It costs nearly $200 to fill my car, and I will use 2 tanks of fuel each way, plus another tank running to and from appointments while there...
Think I might need to take out another Mortgage to pay for it!!

WOW Tammy.............that's horrible!!! My first thought when I saw that you had posted on this thread was "and she has to drive so far to get place too"! I'm afraid this is going to get worse before it gets better. I'm feeling like I'm lucky to live in TN..........so far it seems like the least expensive place to buy gas!

YIKERS Tammy. Hey I remember going to Canada for the first time and seeing the gigh prices in litres nonetheless. We Americans are learning what everyone all over the world has known for a very very long time. We need to start conserving what we got and finding new alternative ways. We truly have been a spoiled lot and very wasteful. So now we have to do what everyone around the world has been doing for ages. Try to preserve our resources and come up with new ones.
