Yipeeeeeeee ;D ;D ;D The teacher wrote that Jelani has been staying dry ALL DAY!!!!!! He is in school from 8:25- 2:45 with 4 potty trips during the day ... I just HAD to share how happy I am. I was praising him when he came home from school and he was like "whatever" mom....LOL The teacher says we can start talking about him wearing underpants to school....(although I can expect accidents, so he has two changes of clothes in his cubby) This is the day I was waiting for!!! Just can't understand why he's dry at school but is soaked at home? Thanks for letting me share!!!! ;D

Ok, so boxers or briefs? lol I say briefs of course...his dad says boxers...but he has no say in the matter since I'm raising his son, now does he??? *actually briefs are the sensible choice.

VERY cool!!!! ;D ;D ;D Think we all understand how exciting that is!! Nicholas actually did the same thing, he was going to preschool Mon-Thurs last year, and the whole potty training thing went much better there than at home in the beginning. Don't know if it's more that it's part of a structured routine there or what. But we're good at home now, too. He'll get there! We have boxers and briefs, depends on our mood for the day!

I'm SO PROUD of my little man! Today was his FIRST day in underwear (no diapers) and he was DRY THE ENTIRE DAY!!! ;D They said he wore his underwear, no accidents...infact he still has the same dry pair on now from this morning! I had packed his backpack with diapers and extra underwear and change of clothes for this big day.... but it wasn't needed... They said they took him 7 times to the bathroom (God bless them) Ok, I know it's only the first day, but I'm so psyched! The teacher said he deserves a "happy meal" and that's exactly what we did to celebrate! Just waited an eternity for this day... So even at home he's staying dry thru' the night... so does this officially mean he's "potty trained?!" I forgot there was such a thing!

That is amazing news! I'm so proud of Jelani...he sure is a big boy now. Look out mom, dating is next! DH says that he doesn't really want Damara to get potty trained cuz no boy wants to date a 15 yr old girl in diapers!! LOL Too funny huh?
