The painting is SOLD and supposedly the lady is leaving it through the opening so I hopefully WILL get to see it.
Em is planning a painting now for my sister who will be 60 Dec 23. Subject is ...flying pigs!

Oh that is wonderful. Does Em get the profit or do the procedes go back to the class/group for more supplies?

Until the program gets going stronger...the cut for the artist is 25%. There are all sorts of complicating factors regarding income for individuals in a program like this and on SSI. But Em will get about 165.00 outta this one!....not bad I would say for something she enjoyed doing so much.
I am sure I could do all sorts of things with her art for her and make her much more money. However, she loves this program and the fellowship of other artists and will learn lots being there.

It makes me happy to look at that painting. No wonder it's in such demand. :-)
If Joshie takes after me, he will NOT be blessed with artistic talent. LOL! I have let him fingerpaint before, but I think he's more interested in how the paint feels on his hands than on the pattern he makes on paper.
