Don't know if this has been shown on here or if you have seen it on your own, but I just saw it recently and have been crying with joy and so excited since I saw it. Please be blessed. www.ndsccenter.org/morealike/flash/Love, Jessika

What a wonderful video! I loved the statement " the abilities of an individual with DS is directly related to what we expect of them" WOW! That sums up so much of what's wrong with the educational system. My gretest fear has always been that otheres will underistimate Kathleen. Mary

Hi Mary! Glad you enjoyed it. I so agree with you and that is a major reason why we are deciding to homeschool Noah when that time arrives. Hope that we are able to do so.

What I have known for some time now, is that people with Down syndrome are very productive and valued as part of society. The so called "educated" folks don't get is that we are all the same as to wanting a "normal" life they have. This video proves it!......Debbie

Yes we need to pass this on to everyone we can. Ignorance about Ds is one of the most hurtful things for our kids. Let's teach eachtother the reality!

As I watch this I look back at Lauren's almost 10 years. I also look ahead and wonder if she will be able to do the things these individuals do. She is so smart yet will take off at any chance she gets. I hope that she will be able to move around the public alone. We have always treated her as an equal to our other children. I love this video. What amazing individuals.

Thanks so much for sharing. Dani has an innate ability to empathazie and show compassion. I foresee her working with little kids as she gets older. Even though Dani is 6, 2 and 3 year olds gravitate to her. I am excited to see how she grows and lives she will bless.
