As the Thanksgiving Holiday approaches here is the US. I would love to hear what other's are thankful for, specifically, regarding their family and beautiful precious loves with that "extra something special". Please chime in from all over the globe....... I am so thankful for the beautiful happy giggles and smiles that greets me in the morning and the wide grin as Dani comes running to me with open arms when I pick her up at day care or school. So much more, but just a start. And, stinky peweys that actually make it to the potty. Kim mom to Dani [glow=red,2,300]I will love you forever and ever[/glow].

I'm thankful to be Elizabeth's mom, to hear the giggles just because she looked at me and I made a face. To have a Husband willing to work extra so I can stay home with her. To have older kids who adore her, even with her extra pieces, when they could resent her.
I have a perfect life. Sheryl

The tears are flowing. I am thankful for all those things mentioned before me, and so thankful that God knows best. That as this groups wise moms and dads said almost a year ago when I first had Noah and was filled with fear, grief and depression over Noah having Ds, that Noah would heal me and I would LOVE him like no other in a way I couldn't imagine. Thanks to God and Everyone here, you give me strength Life is Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very thankful that Nicky is still alive despite his many medical problems and including a terminal heart/lung condition. I am thankful for the many good days we have with him. I am thankful that Connor was removed from the terrible home he lived in and my a miracle was sent to us. I am thankful for all my children - birth, adopted and fostered, and especially thankful for my wonderful little grandchildren. I would also be thankful if the thick freezing fog outside would quickly go away as we had planned at outing today and its just not safe to drive in these conditions !!!

Well I'm always thankful for how far my son has come, I can't believe he was once so tiny and fighting to live..I give thanks to God, and I'm thankful for the love of my son, for the roof over our heads, the food on our table, the inspiration he gives me, the fact we live in a free society, and that we have the support of a good school, and nice friends, esp. here at Uno. I'm thankful every day that I see a little glimmer of what the future holds when my son speaks a new word, masters a new task, holds his spoon and fork a little better, shows he can run if he tries, color if he wants to, follow directions, stays dry all day, and hugs me just because he wants to, not expecting chocolate cake in return. I'm thankful for the chance to be the best mommy to him and to be on the receiving end of all his hugs and kisses.

Oh, where do I begin?! I'm very thankful to God that I have the wonderful family I do. Going through this tough time with my dad's stroke has once again showed the love that that man brought into our lives. He's been the best dad anyone could wish for and I think the fact that all of his kids and grandkids have been there every second for him proves the love we feel for him. Mom and dad have been married for 45 years and he truly needs the strength of their marriage right now to get through this.
I'm very thankful for my husband and my kids. Having Jason in my life has changed it in ways I never even dreamed. Having 3 healthy, beautiful children is a blessing.
The list goes on and on . . .
Jessie
