Everyone 'admires' how independant Lewis is, and just how 'capable' he seems to be... Yep, I agree he does pretty well... But sometimes his independance drives me spare Here is a great example of his 'thoughtful independance' Lewis decided he would "surprise" Mummy and cook some dinner... In the pot is a red onion, half an avocado, half a tomato, half a brown onion, an apple, half a kilo of triple smoked ham and a litre of milk I caught him as he was trying to light the stove to cook it Every day with Lewis is an adventure ;D

LOL...sorry didn't mean to do that out loud!!
I've woke up a couple times to find Collin "cooking" He hasn't tried to use the stove....yet. He usually just gets a pot and fills it with milk, apple cider, spices, and anything else he can get open.
I agree...sometimes independence is not all it's cut out to be!!!

Toss out the milk and apple and it might have turned out well! Or not. Can't blame Lewis for trying!

well I admire him! I can't get Em to cook at all...she NUKES and that is it. Almost like she is afraid of the stove and oven. It is on my list of things still to learn with her.
I think the concoction looks pretty tasty...was a knife involved...now thats a bit scary...LOL.

LOL Jackie.... No knife involved.... this time Now the "Salad" he made up for me last week, which consisted of a whole bunch of spring onions (scallions), a carrot and a tomato....all in tiny little pieces... THAT involved a knife He also knows quite well that 15 seconds in the microwave will heat a bowl of leftovers to a temp that he likes... Just gotta get through to him that ha MUST remove the spoon before putting it into the microwave and turning it on and he can NOT put whole cans of spaghetti in there

I'm sorry...but I really am laughing here! I KNOW the issue you are talking about, but it's just a funny story and the photo is great. Of course it's only funny because he didn't hurt himself...but, it did make me chuckle!

I have to be honest, when I saw this a few days ago I really chuckled and was very touched. What a thoughtful gesture and who knows, if cooked it could be quite interesting. Thank goodness heating and sharp elements were not involved.
Loved it.
