Hi Everyone! Long time, I really miss coming here and reading all that is going on in your lives. I am just too busy these days. Isabella is now 2 months old. She is really needing attention, and Noah of course is just a wild, busy little crawler. He is the best big bro ;D
So I have lots to say and only a moment.
Wondering what you all do with your kids to encourage them to learn and interact. For instance, play groups? Where do you find them? I have called up with downs and they only meet once or twice a month, thought i still haven't had the chance to even go to one. I also want Noah to be with typical kids also.
How do you encourage sign language? My mom has been great, she is so consistent she has been able to teach Noah so many things. He puts up 1 finger when you ask for 1. He bats his eyes (sometimes) when she says Ojitos, which is eyes in spanish.
He gives a kiss when she says besos, again spanish for kiss. Yesterday, she walked around the yard pointing to the trees and saying tree, tree, and in a whisper, and he repeated it!
I wonder if it is going ot be possible to really juggle teaching and encouraging Noah all that I want to and also give my daughter time.
Does it get easier, right now they can't play together. I know it will but man I feel guilty cause I am always pretty much ignoring 1 of them while trying to meet the others needs. While I am meeting the need I am thinking of the one I am setting aside.
I hope I make some sense. I am in a major hurry.
I am also still struggling with breastfeeding. So I pump every 3 hours, which also takes time away.
Oh boy, besides all this life is great. I am going to start working on getting pics up of the kids, then I will post the link.
OK Bye, Love,
Jess
Sorry for rambling
