Max is hanging out here with Alison too!!! Sometimes I think that Max is around so that Alison has a chance to boss someone else around since her sisters both tend to be very bossy towards Alison. I'm not particularly concerned about it although so far this hasn't been an issue at school, just at home. If Max starts going to school with Alison, well, not too sure what to do then.
I know my oldest had an imaginary friend "Wanda from Canada" for a couple of years. Wanda went everywhere! Funny thing was on one of our trips over to Niagara Falls, Canada with friends, Caitlin went running up to this girl in her early 20's calling her Wanda! The girl's name was actually Wanda!!! Even funnier was that "Wanda from Canada" was never heard from again once we got home that afternoon!
As long as Alison's buddy Max doesn't interfere with school, my plan is to just ignore it as much as possible.

Well, that just stinks!
As long as the lab made the error and did the wrong test you do NOT have to pay for what ever they did do. Problem will be if the docs ordered the wrong test, then unfortunately you would be responsible. If that happens, be sure to give the docs a call and see what they can do about getting the charges reversed since it was their error to begin with.
I deal with this kind of thing frequently at work - I work in the lab at a local hospital - and often times if the docs screw up we will bill them for their screw up instead of the patient.
But if the error is on the lab's part there is no way they can make you pay for their mistake!'
Good luck!

Sounds like something Alison would do!!!
How different the world would be if more people showed the kind of concern for others that so many of our kids do!

Just watched the three episodes that are available and absolutely loved them! Sam truely is a star - talk about being totally comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera! And Megan is just the sweetest gal! I loved all of the housemates!
Thanks so much for posting this!

Awww, CC, I'm so sorry Chris is facing yet another issue. Your guy needs a break! Hoping his doc gets to the bottom of this fast and there is no significant damage to his kidneys.
When is he having the procedure for the lump/bump on his back? Will this latest problem delay taking care of that?

Good eyes, Tricia! Yes, Alison's glasses are from Specs4Us. We both love them. These are her 2nd set of frames from them. Picked up the first ones at the NDSC conference in Boston a couple of years ago. I cannot believe how sturdy they are! I had to take her glasses in last year after they mysteriously were mangled at school - the optomotrist could not believe that she was able to fix them without some part or another snapping! They are now carrying them and have even been recommending them for typical kids who are particularly rough on their glasses. I'm just glad that I don't have to go & have Alison measured, then go online and order the frames and wait for them to come in and then go back to have lenses made & the whole thing assembled. For those who haven't tried these frames they are amazing!

I'm really excited about this too! I've been asked to be a parent rep on our school district's CPSE!!! It's not something I really ever thought about doing but when the chairperson called me last week I thought well, why not. I'm not sure how involved parent reps are in other districts, but here, the chair really does look for input from the parent reps. It will be an interesting experience. My first meetings are the first Thursday in October.
Interesting part is that when Alison was still in CPSE, the chair and I did butt heads on a couple of issues...... with me ending up getting my way!!! Hmmmm........ wonder if she realizes what she may have gotton herself into this time???

Hmmmm........
How about Alison for a girl??? Or Amelia, Abigail, Alana, Anna....... I tend to go for middle names that are a little bit different.... Alison Celeste for example..... Sarah Rae
I've always loved Aidan for a boy... or Adam. Not so much on "A" boys names. We only ever had Aidan Martyn or Jeremy Martyn for a boys name, not that I'll be using any boys names at this stage of my life. Baby days are DONE for me!
And I just love the sono pic..... amazing how much the technology has evolved just in the six years since Alison was born!

Love the pudgies piggies!!!!
Alison wears the Sure Steps too and we're trying to wean her off of them too. Haven't seen her big piggie doing anything like Brooks though.
And I gotta say I was surprised when you said what size shoe she wears! Al is almost 6 1/2 yrs old is only just started wearing a size 9.5!!! She always wears her shoes out before it's time to move up a size!
And again, thanks for sharing the piggies! LOL
