Well, since most of our plastic bottles have been pulled off the shelves, maybe some of you are wondering what you are going to do now if you were using one kind of bottle and its now been pulled. I was using the Avent bottle. Its the only bottle Cassie would use. Of course the plastic bottle has been pulled, but the nipples havent been. Its very sad that my little girl has been using a bottle that could be potentially dangerous to her health. I had searched on "safe" bottles to use, and the Nubby was one of them. It looks like a sippy cup on top, but the rest is like a bottle. The sippy nipple is soft, so I thought maybe Cassie would be ok with it. But not really. She will suck from it, but not for long. So tonight when I was giving it to her, she wouldnt really drink for long periods of time, she wasnt all that thrilled with it. I thought hmmmm I wonder if the Avent nipple will fit on the Nubby. Well it does! I was so happy. So if anyone is using the Avent bottle and is wondering what to do, you could always do what I did. Just thought I would share that with you all.

Well I must say, I am learning a lot from this group. Things that I may expect as Cassie grows up.

I bought a Drowsy for Cassie off Ebay. Not the one I had with the pull string on the side of her cause I couldnt find one that still worked, but the one that you squeeze her stomach and she talks. I played with Thumbelina, wooden tinker toys, inchworm, baby alive, barbie dolls: my Dad had a metal chicken that used to lay eggs. (thats an old one) I liked the books that you can still buy, that you punched out the clothes and folded the little tags over on paper dolls. Baby alive is really ugly now. hehe.

True I do like amusement parks. We go to Canadas Wonderland in Toronto. I never liked roller coasters up until about 10 years ago. I thought the older you were, the more scared you were of those things. Just the opposite for me. TPBM is bored........ hehe

True, I have quite a few indoor plants, and I love gardening in my flower gardens. I took a peek out in my backyard yesterday and guess what, I have flowers coming up! Yay! Thats what happens when you live in the north, with all the snow and ice, you get so excited to see one flower popping up in your flower bed. It was 15C here yesterday. I love it! I dont have fruits and veggies though. TPBM goes to a strawberry patch and picks their own strawberries

Hah, isnt that funny. Yes, and I have been talking about it for a couple of days now. Cassie is starting to really get her own identity now. She sure does tell you when she is mad, or fed up or just doesnt want to do something. Sometimes she isnt happy sitting with you, or in her chair, or in her swing, or in her bouncer or on the floor. Gee, haha, what a lot of things she has to do but just doesnt make her happy sometimes. TPBM changed their living room around or is planning on moving things around in their house. (metal music- death metal, industrial metal, black metal... rammstein, pantera, hellyeah, obituary, korn, slipknot,.....)
