I'm been meaning to write this. It's actually a lot harder than it use to be. LOL While it seems everything has changed it also seems like nothing has changed at all. Kaden's still Kaden, adorable as ever. Most everything new I've posted in other topics. Kaden's new obsession and his favorite dangler ever is plastic safety chain. He also wears shoes everyday now after years of being shoeless. Heres Kaden with his chain and wearing his shoes! He has another new school, A male one on one aid that has worked out wonderful. He can charm a woman faster than anything and end up being spoiled and babied. His aid George makes him work for what he wants and expects him to act like a little boy. He is going to have to have his ear surgery repeated this year. It will be number 7. It usually knocks him out of it for a month or so after. I've put if off for as long as I possibly can, but its way past time to have it done again. His new teacher is great she's young and full of energy which you need to keep up with Kaden. Kaden will be in her room one more year and then it's off to High School!! OMG that scares the crap out of me. Kaden is still wearing a five toddler. His new Doctor wants to test to see if there is more than just the mal absorbtion and growth hormone deficiency affecting his growth. I don't think it's anything else. His new Doctor asked me on our first visit if I knew he had Down syndrome so I don't think she's the best Doctor in the world. Kaden had a great summer. He went swimming almost every day which is his idea of heaven. We went to the camp ground alot and fishing which he could care less about but he likes the smores and other camping food. We finally have an animal that Kaden likes. She's a great Dane named Sadie and he likes to run his fingers between her toes. If she licks him he gets a little mad but she's not much of a licker she a perfect Kaden dog though she just lays there and lets him mess with her feet. Kaden swimming Jonathan and Evan and their soccer hair cuts At our Buddy walk this year Kaden and his gorgeous smile Kaden and Scooby Doo at the Buddy Walk Kaden the human pretzel Kaden after a day of swimming All three of my boys

Being Pro Choice doesn't mean you are pro abortion. It just means you believe it's important that choice is protected.
It isn't a far fetched idea that one day pregnancies with poor prenatal diagnosis could be illegal to carry to term. It's even more likely that insurance companies could one day deny coverage to people that choose to CCT and to cover the children born to woman that choose to have them. Already some insurance companies require genetic testing and deny coverage to people that have the gene for Huntington's disease they can also tell if you are more likely to develop medical conditions and consider them pre-existing just because you carry the gene for them.
In my heart of hearts I am pro life. (I also support the death penalty ) but I will always vote to protect the choice of the woman. Choice is so important because one day you may not be on the side of the moral majority.
I've gotten chain emails that say that Barack Obama supports late term abortions when the fact is the bills he voted against he voted against because there was already legislation on the books that banned late term abortion the new law was just worded differently to further limit the choice of the woman.
George Bush is very pro life and appointed supreme court justices that are pro life but still after eight years abortion is still very much legal. The fact is electing someone because they are for or against the right to have an abortion is not going to change very much. Because Obama is pro choice there will not be more abortions performed just like is crazy to expect because McCain is pro life for there to be less abortions performed

Kaden hasn't had a real birthday party in a very long time for exactly the same reasons. It was just a big reminder of what it should be like for a typical kid. I always get him a cake an ice cream cause he's really into that I buy him gifts like this year I bought him 50 foot of yellow plastic safety chain. He doesn't get birthdays at all but he gets food and his chain real well. I just always make the day about him and letting him do his best things. It does make the day easier on me when I see him enjoying himself. Thats what birthdays are about anyway celebrating life. You can make your own birthday IBP (individualized birthday plan lol) and tailor make his day to be his perfect day.

Chris, I bought those five dollar canvas high top shoes for Kaden and he hasn't been able to get them off and Kaden is the ultimate Houdini. I bought every shoe imaginable but something about the high top canvas you can lace them up and double knot them good and they stay on. Kaden went shoeless at school for almost three years before I found something that worked.
I cut just the feet out of the blanket sleepers. you can also buy them with just the elastic bands in the legs. I don't know what I am going to do when Kaden grows out of them!! He's in a five t now.

We are at 245 here but I read that the oil companies are halfing their oil production to try to drive the prices back up.

It kills me to not vote for a woman~ I would have had Hillary signs all over my yard if she had gotten the Nom. I understand the passion behind wanting to vote for McCain /Palin. Especially us having the connection we all have with her.

I do think it's totally unfair how much scrutiny is being paid to Sarah Palin even down to how much her clothes cost and who pays for them. I think it would be the same though had Hillary gotten the nom. I think Women in general face a media far different to them than to their male counterparts. I've not seen one single web site talking about how much Joe Biden's suits cost but you see all kinds of debate over how much money Sarah Palin spends on her clothes. In truth the RNC buys her clothing.

LOL I've gotten Kaden off the bus twice this year butt naked. At home it's all I can do to keep his clothes on him. We use blanket sleepers turned around backwards. It works like a charm I also found coveralls like mechanics wear that work well too. If he's small enough you can buy onsies and put them under his clothes so that if any clothes come off his underpants or diaper is still covered. I also have buttons on the bottom of Kaden's shirt and I button them to his pants.

I do have it in writing it's a whole booklet under covered services for Alabama Medicade. They want me to do something called bowel management because he can walk and for anyone unsure about what that is google it!! It is soooooo not something I want to try. Kaden is loosing weight too because he needs nutrional supplements. He was on five a day in Tn all covered by his Medicade. Here they said he has to be tube fed before they will pay for it. Well Kaden would die if they stuck a tube in him. I have no doubt that if it ever come down to tube feeding him that it would just be the end. He can't even wear glasses because of his sensory issues I'm sure he'd have the tube pulled out. I buy as much as I can. He's still lost about seven pounds since we've moved here. On a child that is only 50 some pounds thats a huge deal. I don't understand if he can and will drink it why they'd want him to have a major surgery.
Allisa I do remember you!! I'll post some pictures and stuff of the boys as soon as I get a few uploaded on photobuckets

Oh if only it was that easy!! I sold a perfectly great house to come here and bought an okay house here. That was before the housing market went to crap! I would have to sell this house for what I have in it. Don't really think it's possible.
what I really want to do is find out how to change the law. Could someone sue their state. Not for money but for the same rights?

I love America too. I was also raised Pentecostal and believe me you don't want the finger of a pentecostal that close to the button that could end the world. They EXPECT the end time. PRAY for it and feel it is not escapable. I've heard I'm afraid of Obama I'm afraid of McCain I'll be honest I'm AFRAID of the mindset of Pentecostals.
I'm really suprised so many of you supported all of Palins views. I mean she believes if I don't want my child to hear about the Holocaust I can opt him out of the class for that subject. The homeschoolers that teach their children there were never any dinosaurs and that men has never been to the moon. That's OKAY.
She is against stricter punishments for hate crimes. How can anyone be against that??
She cut funding in Alaska that would help underage teenage mothers. Even though her daughter falls in that category. What makes anyone think that just because her child has Down syndrome that she's going to be that helpful for us. She's not been that helpful to unwed teen Mothers in her home state and she's familiar with that too.
