okay.. strange question here... but I am hoping someone can help me.
I have been steadily and rapidly losing weight (although I am not even trying) I want to believe it is all STRESS INDUCED.. but... could there be something medical to it?
Any suggestions what I should have the drs check for? I had a full blood work up in February and other than a goofy Cholesterol result. Everything else was fine. My weight loss has been steady... and I am not Dieting or exercising.. well wait, chasing Katie around may count as exercising.
I spent the last couple of hours searching the internet..and after 90 pages of searches decided it was a dead end. 95 percent of the links are for FAST WEIGHT LOSS Programs.
Thanks for your help girls.

Cathy, # 1 thing that pops into my head is Thyroid... that'll do it. Blood work in Feb might be fine, but that was 6 months ago. How much weight are you talking about & what kind of time frame ? Actually weight loss is a sign of diabetes as well (who'd think ?) But because the body is unable to use the insulin to use the calories .... it turns to itself & uses fat stores....hence the reason the low carb diets work !! You don't give your body the sugars it needs to run, so it turns to itself to get it.

Allisa,
Thanks for the response...I am talking over 50 pounds in less than a year. No dieting.. same old eating habits... as bad as they are (too much chocolate ... if there is such a thing) and Carb heavy... do not take away my pasta!
I guess maybe I should not complain, I was just worried that something may be wrong other than an EXTREMELY Stressful year. I think I may have the blood work done again, emphazing Thyroid and blood sugar. Diabetes does run in our family. My father was an insulin taker and my mom is on oral medication for it. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Thanks,
Cathy

CATHY, ALWAYS better safe then sorry, sooo for sure check it out with your Doc. BUT I will share that YES STRESS can be a factor here. Right before I got married, my Mom had to go in for brain surgery and between her surgery and planning the wedding OMG I lost tons of weight to the point that people were saying STOP losing weight YIKES on my wedding day I was HONESTLY 95 lbs and even I thought that was not right BUT for me at that time was only due to stress, so that could be the reason...
I wasn't trying it just came off, wish I could say it was this easy now LOL
But you have those 2 precious angels depending on you soooo go to the Docs and have it checked

Cathy, Stress could be a cause of the weight loss and I hope it is in case. But I would ask doctor. Good luck, Alice

well i have been eating more lately. i gained a couple of pounds back but i am not worried about it. i will take it off again.oh yes i do want to keep losing. i will try to get back in the program. I need to get with the exercising program and start walking and use my tape. i think mosat of the time if i had freinds who worked the same hours as i do and lived close by we could get together and walk 2 miles a day. i will not make excuses ,i know it will help me. i bought the other day new walking shoes. i am thinking of going to curves and i have to have another pair of shoes to take there. they do not want you to wear them to their shop but put them on after you get there to make sure you do not bring gravel in your shoes and tear up the equpiment. i do know that i am fitting in pants i have not worn in 4 yrs now! i tried on a 14/16 top today. that should make me feel good and not want to eat but i still want to eat so i had some healthy stuff today! i am going to keep trying. i want to lose atleast 20 more lbs. i am going to the doctors so i can have blood test to make sure i am doing okay in the next few weeks. sue

Hey everyone! I wanted to let you know that I've been doing Slim in 6, which is part of beacdbody.com and I've lost 17 pounds and 14 inches! It's been hard work! They don't sugar coat it (bad choice of words!) and make it sound like there's nothing to it. It takes time and commitment. But it works! And I feel great! I must say I'm in better shape than I've been in a long time. Here's my beachbody website: www.mybeachbody.com/amaysnva You can even see my before and after photos and has lots of info. There is a great message board with lots of support. If you're into exercise and healthy eating, it's a great program. See ya, Robin M

Robin M, Congratulations! WTG!!! It is much harder to gain pounds than loose them. And to loose it we need to work very hard. Just dieting is not enough! You are great examples for all! Thanks for your post and good luck to you, Alice p.s. I myself did this program: www.winsorpilates.com/index.php?acnt=GHWZZ01N. Works great too!

Thanks Alice! I appreciate your support.
Dieting is hard work! And working out to stay slimmer is the hardest work of all in my opinion! I never worked so hard as I have this summer to lose this weight. But I really feel great and think it has been worth it.
Good luck to all.
